CHILDRENS SHELTER PROJECT 2

We visited the Children's Shelter again in September '08 and provided the children with gift bags filled with toys and a magic show. We were all very touched by the experience.

THE WATER PROJECT

This project was GREAT! We passed out ICE Cold water at a local intersection on a HOT day here in San Antoino, TX. We wanted to demonstrate God's love to the community by giving them something, NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Some even wanted to give us money. Of course we refused. Check it out!

Nursing Home Project 2

This was our second time at a nursing home. We keep trying to make things better. The Church of God San Antonio worship team worshiped God through song and helped the people who stay there worship God as well. A member also gave the employees a well deserved massage for all their hard work. We keep learning every time we set out to do a project.

New! Firestation Project
Fire House #10

For this project we served some local firemen from Firesation #10 in San Antonio, Texas. Church members made various dishes and fed some of our local heroes. No strings attached.

Children Shelter Project
CHILDRENS SHELTER PROJECT

Here we went to a children's shelter and entertained the children with a magic show, fed them a snack, gave them gifts, and just spent a little quality time with the kids. This was very emotional. Again, no strings attached.

Helping at the Nursing Home
Nursing Home Project

For this project we visited a nursing home where our worship team sang our favorite worship songs. We also passed out blankets to keep their legs warm, passed out bananas and stuffed animals, and painted the ladies' nails. Lots of FUN!

Hot Meals for the Homeless
FEEDING THE HOMLESS

Our first project together. Church members gathered under a bridge where there are some homeless people. We gave them a hot meal, passed out brand new socks for the coming winter months, and let them choose from a large selection of clothing items. We're definitely going to do this again!!
